About this panchang

This Panchang is based on Nrisimha Karana. Nrisimha Karana was prepared by Nrisimha Daivjna in the first quarter of fifteenth centaury. The formulas and theories are made according to the Surya Siddhanta School of thought. The ending time of the ingredients are corresponding to the place selected by the user. The places provided are in full width and length of the earth. That means this Panchang covers almost all parts on the earth.

The whole process of Panchang Generation was monitered by Daivjna Shri Pidaparti Seetarama Siddhanti who prepared panchang for 60 consecutive years and who resides at Rajahmundry at present.

The formulated rules of Nrisimha Karana were applied and preparation of the ending time was prepared by Dr.Subrahmanyam.Pidaparti, Assistant Professor. Dr.Subrahmanyam teaches Jyotisham (both Phalita and Siddhanta) in Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan. He is a graduate from Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetham, Tirupati and post graduate from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He obtained doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) in Jyotisham from BHU. He belongs to the Pidaparti family which made Jyotish a familiar discipline in Andhra Pradesh since hundreds of years.

The total process of Panchang generation includes the efforts from Sri Poornasundararao.Pidaparti. The Grandson of well-known mathematician and Panchang maker Sri Pidaparti Poornayya Garu , Sri Rao contributed since the initial stage and this online panchangam is the outcome of his efforts. Sri Rao has sound authority over the subject which he acheived from the teachings of Sri Poornayya garu.
