HOW TO USE THE VISHWA PANCHANG

This is a universal calendar. But it is not different from other existing calendars. The only big difference is the flexibility to know the data for any place on the earth instead of the fixed place data only available in other calendars. Hence it is called Uiversal Panchang or Vishwa Panchang. The particular components provided here at present are Sunrise, Tithi,  Nakshtra, Yoga and Durmuhurta. Their details have been provided here.

Time Format and Ending Time

In this calendar the time given in front of the components is the ending time of that particular component. That means the component comes to an end by the given time in the selected place. It is not common for every place and differs from one place to the other. The time format given is in 24 hours format. The date changes with the sunrise instead of the midnight. This is just to understand the ending time of the component which is governed or controlled by the sunrise. The users need to keep in mind that the time given corresponds from sunrise to sunrise.
